Select Product Category
Select Product Model
Select Technical Resources under Resource Category
Under Sub Category select Print Drivers
A list will populate at the bottom of the window
Select KX Driver
A new page will come up and you’ll see a button that says view file. Click it.
It will take a few minutes to open and will download to your download file.
When the file opens, move it to a temporary folder on your desktop
Unzip the file to the desktop folder.
For VISTA or later operating systems:
Click your start button in the left bottom corner of your computer screen and select Devices/Printers.
On the menu, select Add a Printer
(Note to Windows 8 users: At this point Windows 8 will automatically try to download the driver. However, it will be the incorrect driver. Let it finish the process and then click Add a Printer again and continue following the instructions. After the correct driver is loaded you can delete the incorrect one.)
Select Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer.
If no printer is found, select “The printer that I want isn’t listed.”
Choose the 3rd button “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname” and click Next
Enter the IP address found on your configuration page.
(ex. 192.168.000.000)
Check the box that say “Query the printer…”
On the next window, the Standard button should be checked. Click next.
Now select “Have Disk” and browse to the folder on your desktop
Select the folder that has the OEM setup icon. (The folder is probably named Disk 1.) Click OK
Select your printer and the Next buttons.
WINDOWS XP:
Click your start button in the left bottom corner of your computer screen and select Printers and Faxes.
Click add a printer on the left side of your screen. This opens the printer wizard. Click next
Select “Add a network printer…”
Choose the first button “Find a printer”
Type in the model number of your printer in the name filed. The model number can be found in the upper right hand corner of your configuration page that you printed earlier.
Select the printer in the window below and click OK.
Set it as your default printer (or not)
Finish
